Located in the lower north wing of the main branch adjacent to the Theatre Gallery, the Art Gallery is a free public space that hosts work from local and regional artists. To engage the public with visual storytelling in many art forms and to encourage literacy in these forms of making, the space is to showcase work, but it is also paired with related workshops and book displays.
Located in the upper south wing across from the main customer service desk, Community LINKS is a community information and referral service operated by the Canadian Mental Health Association. Community Links provides direct access to a network that helps people get to the services that they need in the quickest way possible.

The lower study of the main branch features quiet study carrels and tables for those looking for individual or small group quiet workspaces.
The Community Meeting Room is a bright, functional space perfect for in person and hybrid meetings, with a capacity of up to 60 people.
The Theatre Gallery is an impressive performance space with high quality audio-visual equipment and a grand piano, with a capacity of up to 180.

In the upper north wing adjacent to Piitoyiss/Eagle’s Nest, this room houses a collection of local and regional history materials as well as rare materials useful for genealogy seekers and researchers. The collection of materials was started by Senator Buchanan, and local historian Alex Johnston was involved in procuring parts of the collection. The space also includes a microfilm/fiche collection and reader.

In the upper north wing close to the Community Meeting Room, our Indigenous gathering space hosts the First Nations, Metis, Inuit (FNMI) collection of materials, as well as comfortable seating, a reference computer, and locally created Indigenous art.
