  • You will receive an email notification from the City of Lethbridge confirming your application has been received. 
  • Resumes are reviewed by a selection committee who review qualifications, education, experience, training and skills. 
  • The selection committee will short list candidates for interviews. 
  • Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted directly.  
  • Interviews questions will include general questions about your knowledge and work history and behavior-based questions where we will ask you to respond with a specific example of a situation, its action and the result. 
  • References will be verified – a minimum of 2 professional references are required. 
  • The candidate who best meets the requirements of the position will be offered the position. 
  • The successful candidate will be required to submit a Police Information Check (PIC). 
  • Once a posting has closed, the recruitment process takes an average of 4 to 6 weeks.
