Home Delivery

The Lethbridge Public Library extends beyond the walls of our buildings. We offer a number of options to get our books and services into the Lethbridge community.

Homebound

The service delivers library materials to those who are physically unable to visit a library branch in-person (due to age, illness, injury, etc).

Homebound is a volunteer-based service which pairs a library patron with a volunteer community member. If you are interested in receiving Homebound services, or signing up as a volunteer, please contact the Main branch at 403-380-7330 or email homebound@lethlib.ca

Books on the Move

Books on the Move is a library service that delivers a large selection of books (50-60 titles) to participating sites on a regular rotation. Every 6 weeks, a library employee drops off a new selection of books and picks up the previous deliveries. Sites that are eligible for this program include senior’s residences, assisted living facilities, treatment centers, and other group living settings within Lethbridge city limits. This program provides participating sites with a library card and requires a site staff person to act as contact and coordinator for the service.

If you are interested in learning more, or to see whether your site qualifies, please contact the Main branch at 403-380-7330 or email booksonthemove@lethlib.ca
